Moving Workload from VMware to Hyper-V

Moving workload to and from would be common scenario in days to come, as of date we have tool sets supporting a public cloud vendors Microsoft Converter to convert VM’s from VMware to Azure/Hyper-V in my previous blog I wrote about AWS vCenter Connector which would allow to migrate workloads from vCenter to AWS cloud. In this article let’s look at how to move virtual machines from VMware to Hyper-V using Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter 3.0

I installed this tool on a Windows 2012 Server

Check that you are using the correct doiamn username format for converter. In our network we use format but converter hates that. It requires the use of doiamn\username instead. If you use the wrong credential format it will give this error as well.
